Meet the Bold Brownies!

We are two girls from Philly who want to share our beauty explorations with you.  We aren’t make-up artists or beauty experts, but we love trying new skin regiments, sampling new products and enhancing our inner and outer goddesses.  Our motto can be summed up in three words: Bold, Blessed and Beautiful!

We hope you will have fun with us each week!  We will share our experiences with new products, our favorite beauty tips, lifestyle improvements and our beauty wins and loses!  Watch us on our Youtube channel - Bold Brownies!

Meet Toya

I’m a 31-year old  mother of two boys and wife to a local Philly artist.  I enjoy a good laugh and fun nights out with my husband and friends.  Most would describe me as funny, dependable, carefree, stylish and BEAT! My favorite thing about beauty products, whether it be something for my hair or something as simple as a lip-gloss, is how it makes me feel. Buying a new lipstick or trying out a new conditioner gets me excited. It’s my way of treating myself to something after a long week or even a long day. Due to my lifestyle, I can’t always afford to buy that shoe or handbag, but I can go buy that $3.00 Wet and Wild lipstick. Over the years I’ve received  many questions regarding my hair techniques and/or makeup choices, through this blog and vlog, I plan to share tips that produced the best results for me and hopefully help someone else break out of their shell ,try a new product and, most importantly, tap into their inner and outer BOLD!

Meet Egypt

I’m a 33-year old event planner!  I’m a lover of Christ, reality television and all things beauty!!  I love trying new make-up trends, exploring accessory options and nail polish brands and colors! Many would describe me as silly, carefree, stylish, organized and demanding. A few years ago I learned that I had alopecia and my hair was slowly falling out.  As a girl in love with fashion, hair and her looks, my world was rocked by this diagnosis and beauty as I knew it looked completely different.  A year into rocking my BOLD and beautiful baldie, I’ve embraced change and have been enhancing my look ever since!  I hope to encourage other women struggling with unexpected physical changes to accept and embrace their beauty within!  Look out for some of my favorite beauty tips!
